Weekly Events

Sundays @ 9:30 AM Power Plant Prayer

We know that in order to do anything, we need the necessary power to proceed. We fire up the Power Plant as we pray for our church and the worship service each week right before our worship service.

Sundays @ 10:00 AM Worship Service

Each week we gather together as a group of Jesus’ followers to worship God, not out of a sense of duty, but out of hearts that are full of joy and gratitude for what He has done for us. This upbeat, heartfelt experience allows us to meet with God, to express our love to Him, and to allow Him to bless us.

Mondays @ 7:00 PM Call to Prayer

Monday evenings we gather to pray for one hour for the mission and ministry of our church, for our community, and for God’s wisdom for our activities in the community and world. Contact us for directions to this home-based gathering.

Wednesday @ 10:00 AM AMC (Morning Connections)

Every Wednesday from September through May we gather to study the Bible at a convenient daytime hour for those who can’t make it to an evening gathering. This great time of fellowship is a great time to learn what the Bible says to us today in a give and take format that encourages each one to participate in the learning and discussion process.

Wednesdays @ 6:30 PM CONNECTIONS (September through May)

Every Wednesday night from September through May we have an adult fellowship and study that we call CONNECTIONS. We look at all kinds of life topics, have special studies that help us learn what the Bible says about our lives and how it will make a difference for us.

We always have something to eat – sometimes a full blown dinner and other times just coffee and dessert (check the calendar to find out about times and what’s happening this week). We hope to connect with you at CONNECTIONS.

Thursdays @ 6:30 PM H.Y.P.E. (Heritage Youth Prayerfully Empowered)

Each week our Youth Group meets to have fun, to learn, and to grow in their faith. There are always fund games and activities, good stuff to eat, a relevant discussion about how faith affects students’ lives, and a time to have a good time making music together.

Keep an eye on the news portion of this page to keep up with the special events and activities that happen at Heritage.

Do you know of any Junior High or High School students who love having a great time with other teens? H.Y.P.E. (Heritage Youth Prayerfully Empowered) meets every Thursday night at 6:30 for fun, study, encouragement, and a chance to get to know other teens. Our youth leaders, Brian & Michelle, lead the students in fun and creative activities that build genuine friendships. They also lead them through a Bible study each week that is appropriate to the things they face every day at school. The fun, safe, encouraging atmosphere at H.Y.P.E. is just the thing that young people need in today’s atmosphere of uncertainty and constantly shifting boundaries and standards. When your teen comes to H.Y.P.E., they’ll meet a great group of young people that are led by people who really care about teens and will guide them into an adventure in faith.

Beginning in September, we’ll be studying Tim Keller’s Prodigal God, in which we’ll learn about the wonderful, lavish grace of God that He pours out upon His people as an abundant blessing. Keep an eye here for more details about our start date and schedule.

Beginning August 23 on Wednesday Evenings we’ll be having a study for the men of the church and their guests that will encompass basic biblical discipleship. This study will be sure to both challenge and reinforce the great truths of the faith to help us to grow into the mature men of God that He would have us be.

Also beginning on August 23 is a compelling study that the women of the church and their guests will be exploring called Prodigal God by Tim Keller. During this six-week study, we’ll discover God’s lavish grace poured out on our behalf. Get your friends to come with you for this wonderful, encouraging opportunity.
